The platform helps patients to connect with healthcare services. They also help them connect with good practitioners across India through their web and mobile platform. Patients can find all the essential information about the doctors, which can help them find a suitable one for them. The platform is provided with sufficient storage capacity for the medical records too.
The healthtech platform has raised $120,000 of angel funding by entrepreneurs from the Middle East, including Anish K and Ajith Nair, CEO iAdepto Global. “The current round of funding will help us strengthen our development team based out of Bangalore and will help open new sales offices in South and West”, says Rana Dutta in inc42.com report.
Bengaluru-based startups Practo and Portea, and other healthcare startup Modasta, ZocDoc, Qwikwell are some Tiyo’s contenders in the segment.
By the end of this year, the company plans to expand to six more cities including Chennai, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad. “The current round of funding will help us strengthen our development team based out of Bangalore and will help open new sales offices in South and West”, says Rana Dutta in knowstartup.com report. They also plan to add 100,000 registered medical practitioners to the platform. Currently, there is a team of around 30 members and the firm claims to look at 10,000 appointments in a day. But, the company expects to look at 10 lakh appointments and have two lakh doctors on the platform by next year.
