Come to “Technology Issue Summit” and know Mohandas Pai’s thoughts on Indian Startup Ecosystem

It’s only four days to go for “Technology Issue Summit” which is going to be held on 24-25 September 2016, at Hotel Shangri La in Bengaluru. A two-day event is dedicated to all startups, investors, and each one of us who have thought of building a startup. The event is organized by Onionfans and Cyber Carrier along with Technology Issue and Xpressn Labs. The event has got support from Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI), Mobile 10x, NASSCOM, 10000 Startups, and TLABS. The outreach partners list includes the names Bhive, Headstart, Ginserv,91 Sprinboardand VoyageUp who are helping Onionfans to reach their target audiences whereas INC42 Media and The Tech Portal aresupporting as a media partners for the event.

The event can be seen a major step towards creating a synergy between the investors from the two nations, India and China, and Indian ventures. The event will also help the Chinese delegates to expand their global reach and market. With 60 startups, 12 speakers, 72 hours and 10 seminars along with Demo Days arranged for the startups to pitch in, the event is one of its kind in the country’s startup ecosystem.


The two-day event is going to begin with a Keynote by Mr. T.V.Mohandas Pai, Director at Havells India Ltd and Chairman of SEBI Primary Markets Advisory Committee to spark light on India’s Journey as next Economic Boom. It will be followed by a 10 minutes session by Mr. Satyendra Verma, COO at IAMAI, to discuss about “Internet and Mobile Trends in India”.

The pre-lunch session will also include CEO Conclave and FinTech Conclave. The group of CEOs that includes, Ravi Guruaj from Qikpod; Bruce from Netmeds; Rohith Bhat from 99 Games; and Dilip Vamanan  from Adcamie will discuss on “The Next Big Thing:Business Trends Shaping in the Future”. FinTech Conclave with the topic “The Evolving FinTech Landscape” is going to be chaired by Gautam Mago from, Sequoia Capital and Mrinal Sinha from Mobikwik in along with others.

But, the most important worry of Startup world is kept for the end – “State of Innovation in India”. It is going to be looked from the point of view of Investors lead by Jessica Wong from Cyber Carrier.


The second day is dedicated to the journey of Startup towards funding with a demo day with a focus on Fintech and some other sectors.
