Earlier called Managemyspa, the company is headquartered in Seattle, USA, but also has seven offices globally in the cities of Hyderabad, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Dubai, Manila, and Sydney. The company was founded by Sudheer Koneru, an IIT Madras engineering graduate, in 2010. The platform help spa and salon managers manage their business with ease. They can use the platform for booking appointments, billing through a POS, CRM, employee schedules and payroll, inventory, running marketing promotions, enabling online booking, online sales and more. Currently, the company powers thousands of spas and salons in more than 32 countries. Kaya Skin Clinics, Lakme Salons, Massage Green, and Sothys Malaysi are some clients Zenoti is working with. The platform also includes marketing automation and data analytics tools for its clients. Zenoti has seen its revenues grow by 200% year-on-year. “The average revenue we are making from each outlet in the US has doubled as compared to our competitors,” said Koneru, in an economictimes.indiatimes.com report. The same report says that he aims to make his startup the largest software provider for the global wellness industry, a market that he estimates is worth $15 billion.
Zenoti has raised $15,000,000 in a Series B funding round led by Norwest Venture Partners and Accel India. “Zenoti is filling a void for mid to large wellness chains by solving chronic challenges associated with rapid growth,” said Mohan Kumar, executive director of Norwest Venture Partners, reports indianweb2.com. “Enterprise brands are starting to understand that Zenoti technology affords increased efficiencies and the seamless ability to protect their brand identities and customer experiences. Other players in the market are not addressing the need to manage a brand’s distributed operation or provide an integrated view of business performance across multiple locations.”
The company plans to use the funds for expansion of their client base and team. They also plan to build new products. To accelerate the growth they will also work for the expansion of fitness and yoga space. According to an indianweb2.com report, Sudheer Koneru said,“Over the last few years, we were focused on building a strong foundation of technology and customer service excellence. We’ve demonstrated this by transitioning leading, enterprise brands in multiple regions to Zenoti. This funding enables us to establish ourselves as a leader in the industry.”
