The French speaker company Devialet has raised 106 million dollars in series C
round from numerous investors to enhance its growth in Asia and US. Ginko
Ventures has led the round with input from Foxconn; group Renault, Sharp
Corporation, Playground Global, Future French champions, BPI France and
Korelya capital. As per the Pellerin ‘Devialet is an actual pearl that has been able
to innovate and put its whole heart of a technology revolution’. The investment of
Korelya Capital is also remarkable as the fund which totally focuses on Korean and
European investments were co-founded this year and it will also join Devialet
With the new funding, Devialet will plan to allocate its speakers in various sectors
like the internet of things and automotive trough new partnerships, it will open
new flagship stores in London, Paris and New York and also invest in more R&D.
according to the company’s future strategy, it will double its turnover every year.
According to CEO Quentin Sannie’ we have already commenced very promising
common projects’. The company also said that it presently has 230 members of
staff about double its headcount from the last year.
