SonarSource raised 45 million dollars in funding

SonarSource has raised 45 million dollars in the funding round and the investors

are Insight Venture partners and with it, Richard Wells and Matt Gatto has added

to SonarSource’s board of directors too. Recently the company has announced

the raising of 45 million dollars minority investment. Code quality management

has become the vital concern or the companies who sustain ever expanding code

bases and Richard Wells commented that ‘we are delighted to add SonarSource

to our assortment of companies as they prolong to offer enterprises and

organizations with inventive solutions to administer their code bases’.

Future plans

The company has been founded with an aim to become world leading solution to

reduce maintenance costs and risks, to manage technical debts and developing

better software. CEO of SonarSource Mr. Gaudin said “our association with Insight

Ventures permits us to benefit from their support to construct a global

organization and accelerate the growth of the businesses. SonarSource has grown

significantly and will utilize the new capital to speed up growth and to move on to

pursue its mission of enabling developers to release highly secure code.
