Women100 by Technology Issue

It’s International Women’s Day, and we’re happy to bring out our special edition, ‘Women 100: By Technology Issue’.

Women empowerment is something that people have been advancing towards over recent times. It helps women break the shackles of their family and society and emerge as individuals with a lot of potentials to achieve great feats. It not only brings out the hidden strengths in them but also builds the nation and civilization as a whole.

The abilities of women in making decisions, education, and profession have been largely suppressed since ages, considering them inferior to men. When it comes to backward or underdeveloped nations, the condition is far worse, as women are hardly allowed to make decisions for themselves or for the household.

Such a terrible condition has been seen in some of the African countries, where less than 5% of the top executive positions in prominent companies have been taken up by women. In Venezuela, the situation is so terrible that some women were trying to flee the country, sell their hair, breast milk and sex in exchange for money and food. Many such social evils are pulling women down, which is what makes women empowerment and support so very essential.

Technology Issue is one of the leading media houses in the world that concentrates mainly on tech developments, business, investments, and leadership. Also, a part of our company is the highly acclaimed publication ‘Technology Issue’. This small effort by Technology Issue is intended towards providing recognition to women leaders for their services, thereby encouraging and urging more women to step up and follow their dreams.

We have made a listing of 100 women from all around the world who have been excellent leaders and helped their companies achieve amazing growth during their time in office.
